RESUME: Frederic has been involved in the retail business for many years. From 1997 he was an advisor to the Halley Family who own approx 20% of Carrefour supermarkets. During this time he was involved in the purchase of G.I.B. the largest food retailer in Belgium, Super Mercados Norte in Argentina and a number of other food retailers. In 2002, he set up a family office/private Equity fund for the Halley family investing in specialty retail and started to buy retailers and brands such as Republic, a Street and Urban clothing retailer, in the UK with 100 stores and Jill Sander the German fashion brand. Since April 2006 he has been a director and part of a group of investors that took over La Senza, the leader in lingerie in the UK with 170 stores. Following the purchase of AS Adventure Group by Lion Capital in November 2007 Frederic was appointed Executive Chairman and in October the following year he was also appointed CEO of the group.
