Tuesday, October 11th - 3.20-4.20pm PRESENTATION OVERVIEW: Believe it or not even the most traditional brands will soon be relying on gossip, celebrities and the art of seduction as the basis for their marketing campaigns. Social communities, the bedrock of new media, are just a gigantic version of your close group of friends; and we all want to know what each other are doing, where, and with whom. And don't forget, the sports industry has had its own celebrities for years, we just called them athletes. This presentation is not about digging deep into technology or theory, but about showing how simple insights into who we are as people can lead to real life business results and leverage your marketing budget. And who knows – you might even pick up a thing or two about seduction along the way. RESUME: Entrepreneurship has been the thread running through Walter Naeslund's career. From 1998 to 2003 Walter was busy at Linköping Institute of Technology where he was Chairman of the Student Union and Co-Founder of the Student Magazine Ikon. In between he managed to fit in a Master of Science degree in Media Technology. From there he moved on to enter and drop out of business school at Lund University before he completed his education at Berghs School of Communication where he studied to be a copywriter.
